Stability instead of collapse: Statistics for 2009 from declaration of completeness confirm BDSD forecast

“That is good news from Berlin. Ever since it was established, the BDSD has taken the position that, if the market participants behave sensibly, the 5th amendment of the German Packaging Ordinance will take effect and the market will stabilise,” commented Raffael A. Fruscio, president of the Federal Association of Dual Systems in Germany (BDSD – Bundesverband Dualer Systeme Deutschland e.V.), following publication of the statistics for 2009 from the declaration of completeness by the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce Association (DIHK – Deutscher Industrie- und Handelskammertag).
